🔐 Terms & Confidentiality

This page outlines the working agreement for any 1:1 coaching or mentoring programme delivered by Meg through Catalyst Core, including services offered under the Connected Assistants brand.

It applies to all mentoring and coaching programmes, such as the Clarity Sprint, and the Premium and Elite Mentoring Packages, as well as any bespoke advisory or support arrangements.

The aim is simple: to ensure you know what to expect, where the boundaries are, and how we’ll work together respectfully and effectively.

This agreement sets out the terms and conditions that apply when you (the “Client”) engage in any 1:1 coaching or mentoring programme provided by Connected Assistants, operated by Meg Steinschauer.

By purchasing a coaching or mentoring package, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Programme Scope and Services

The scope, number of sessions, delivery format, and duration of your programme will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

This may include:

  • One-to-one sessions (typically via Zoom)

  • Preparation prompts or pre-work

  • Follow-up notes, recommendations, or tools

  • Email support (where explicitly included)

 

No additional services or support are included beyond what is specified at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

2. Duration and Validity

All sessions must be used within the time period stated on your programme description (typically six to eight weeks unless otherwise agreed). Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances, subject to availability and agreement in writing.

If the Client fails to schedule or attend sessions within the agreed timeframe, any remaining sessions will be forfeited without refund.

3. Scheduling and Cancellations

The Client is responsible for booking their sessions using the private booking links provided or by arranging dates directly with Meg.

 

If the Client needs to reschedule, they must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be considered forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled unless otherwise agreed.

The Coach reserves the right to reschedule in case of illness or exceptional circumstances and will offer reasonable alternative dates.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing in advance.

Payments are processed securely via this website or third-party platforms (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). The Client is responsible for any transaction or currency conversion fees incurred.

All coaching and mentoring packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed, except where required by law or at the discretion of the Coach in exceptional circumstances.

5. Confidentiality

All sessions are strictly confidential. Information shared by the Client during the programme will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit permission.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  • Situations where there is a legal obligation to disclose information

  • Cases where there is a risk of serious harm to the Client or others

  • Professional supervision or audit processes (where data is anonymised)

 

The Coach will handle all disclosures sensitively and in line with safeguarding best practice.

 

6. Nature of Coaching and Mentoring

Coaching and mentoring are not therapeutic services and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

 

The Coach is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the coaching relationship. The Client accepts full responsibility for their own choices and implementation.

Participation in coaching or mentoring is voluntary. The Coach may choose to discontinue the engagement if they believe the relationship is no longer appropriate, effective, or ethical. Any unused sessions at that point may be refunded at the Coach’s discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All tools, templates, written materials, and session resources shared by the Coach remain the intellectual property of Connected Assistants. The Client may use these for personal use only and may not reproduce, distribute, or share them without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Coach and Connected Assistants disclaim any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the coaching engagement.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Connected Assistants Code of Conduct

Commitment to a Safe and Respectful Environment

Connected Assistants, a division of Catalyst Core Operations Limited, is committed to ensuring that all online events and meetings are free from harassment and sales pitches. Our aim is to foster a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants.

1. Harassment

Harassment in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

 

1.1 Cyberstalking

Repeated harassing behaviour that causes humiliation, fear, anxiety, or emotional distress to a participant.

 

1.2 Doxing/Doxxing

Publishing or sharing a participant’s sensitive personal information (e.g., full name, email, employment details, family information) to intimidate, harass, extort, or harm them.

 

1.3 Hacking

Unauthorised access to another participant’s device or network with the intent to steal data, violate privacy, or spread malicious software.

1.4 Hateful Speech & Online Threats

Any form of expression that attacks an individual’s race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

 

1.5 Message Bombing

Flooding a participant’s email inbox or phone number with excessive messages.

 

1.6 Nonconsensual Sharing of Intimate Content

Sharing private, sexually explicit images, videos, or messages without the subject’s consent.

 

1.7 Online Impersonation

Creating fake accounts to post offensive statements, harass participants, or extract sensitive information.

 

1.8 Online Sexual Harassment

Any form of unwanted sexual conduct on digital platforms, including unsolicited messages, images, or requests.

 

1.9 Trolling

Engaging in disruptive or harmful online behaviours, including:

  • Concern Trolling – Pretending to offer helpful feedback while making demeaning comments.

  • Dogpiling – Group harassment involving threats, slurs, and disingenuous questions aimed at overwhelming an individual.

.10 False Reporting

Falsely reporting another participant for harassment as a means of retaliation or abuse.

2. Reporting Harassment

If you experience or witness harassment during a Connected Assistants event or meeting, please report it immediately by emailing:

All reports will be treated confidentially, and necessary steps will be taken to protect the victim while ensuring a fair review.

3. Consequences of Violations

If a participant is found to be violating this Code of Conduct, Connected Assistants reserves the right to take appropriate action, including:

✅ Immediate removal and banning from events and meetings.
✅ Notification of violations to relevant authorities if necessary.
✅ Informing participants about violations if needed to protect the community.
